Don't fail!

In this quick game, your guild of adventurers is ready for anything: battles, rescues, and the "liberation" of whatever pays the most. Choose a quest and roll the dice! You may win fame, and even recruit a new comrade for your party. Or you may fail, and slink back to the Tavern.

This Deluxe edition includes all the cards from the original Hack & Slash plus the Hack & Slash 2 - Whack and Stash expansion, which first introduced Treasure cards!

Choose one of the quests on the table. Commit the number of adventurers to the quest that are shown on the card.

Roll one die for each adventurer.

If you reach the total listed on the card, you succeed at that quest and win the rewards listed on the card!

If you fail, you lose your committed adventurers.

If you fail, instead of losing your adventurers you can commit another adventurer to reroll one of your dice.

At the end of the game, add up your fame points.

Whoever earns the most fame wins the game!
